Your shoes will be delivered to you at the delivery address you provided.

Can I try on your shoes before buying them?

You can if you live in London! Keep an eye on my facebook or Instagram  where I will keep you updated with the events I will be running my stall at.

You can also sign up for the newsletter to make sure you are always in the loop and don’t miss out on offers and the like 😉

How can I care best for my new shoes?

It is important to keep leather shoes hydrated. Slide & Swing recommend applying moisturising lotion (for example, Nivea) into them once a month. It is important to moisturise the leather sole as well so that it doesn’t crack over time.

The best solution for damp shoes is to fill them with kitchen roll or newspaper and wait at least 24 hours for them to dry out completely. Once dry, remove the paper and apply a good coating of moisturising lotion all over the shoe (inside, outside and sole) and leave them for 24 or 48 hours so that the lotion is absorbed completely.

It is normal for small abrasions or scratches to appear in the leather after some time, which is when you should apply shoe polish.

The leather sole may also become worn after prolonged usage, but this does not mean that the shoe needs to be thrown away. You can take the shoe to a cobbler who can add a half leather sole similar to the original or a rubber one if a non-slip sole is preferred.

Contact me if you are still unsure!

I don’t live in the UK. Can I still order from you?

You absolutely can. The process is the same, the only thing which may change are the shipping costs. Buyers from outside the EU beware though! You might incur considerable costs in tax, which will be entirely your responsibility.

Do the prices include VAT?

All the prices which appear on the page include VAT and are the final price that you will pay for your shoes. The shipping costs will depend on where you are based. See Shipping.

How can I find out what size will fit me best?

There is no short answer for this one, but since you are most likely ordering online you will have to take measurements yourself.  For more information about sizing, click here [insert link] where you can also find the size guides for each brand.

Can I give Soles to Swing shoes as a gift using a voucher?

Yes you can. Select the type of voucher that you would like to give as a gift and once it has been purchased we will contact you with a promotional code for the amount selected, which can then be used to make an online purchase or in person at an event. Vouchers are valid for 1 calendar year.

If the product is bought online, the applicable shipping costs (depending on destination) will be added during the checkout process.

What are your ethics?

Since after oil, the fashion industry is the world’s second largest polluter, I am happy that with Soles to Swing I am able to support small brands that are committed to socially and environmentally responsible manufacturing. Valuing quality over quantity means small batch manufacturing, which allows for attention to detail, no cheap labour, no stockpiling, no avoidable landfill.
